Welcome
City Kitties is a 501(c)3 non-profit, no-kill cat rescue dedicated to saving and improving the lives of stray cats in the West Philadelphia area. Anyone who has spent time in West Philly knows there is a large stray and feral cat population. Please help us by making a donation, becoming a foster home, or adopting a cat! Sponsor the City Kitties Clinic CampaignCity Kitties held our first foster spay/neuter clinic on June 29. This initiative will greatly reduce our veterinary costs so that we can reach more foster cats and kittens throughout the year. Help us by sponsoring the campaign! |

Foster Home Needed!
It's lucky Seven! A dedicated rescuer found this sweet tuxedo tomcat on Haverford Ave in northwest Philly. Poor Seven. He's FIV+, has a few stumps for teeth, several broken bones that somehow healed out on the street (tail, pelvis, and ribs), a heart murmur, a crumpled ear, and severe flea dermatatis that's just starting to heal after two weeks off the street. Despite all he's been through, Seven is a very agreeable gentleman and has become a favorite at the vet office. He deserves a new home just as much as the next kitty. And who could refuse that face?? (To be fair, that picture was taken while he was recovering from his neuter, but Seven is pretty busted looking. It's part of his charm.) If you're looking for an only cat or a kitty to be part of an FIV+ household, Seven is your guy. He also really needs a foster home! We'll take care of any follow-up care and will remove what's left of his teeth prior to adoption. He's been vaccinated, neutered, treated for fleas and earmites, and has gotten a fecal. He's ready to recuperate on your couch. Please consider Seven. He would love another chance at a happy life, and FIV+ kitties can live perfectly normal lives. Adoption application and $75 adoption fee are required.
