Welcome
City Kitties is a 501(c)3 non-profit, no-kill cat rescue dedicated to saving and improving the lives of stray cats in the West Philadelphia area. Anyone who has spent time in West Philly knows there is a large stray and feral cat population. Please help us by making a donation, becoming a foster home, or adopting a cat! You can also join our email list for monthly newsletters and updates. Become a Foster Home, Save a Life!City Kitties needs your help. We currently have no foster space, and as a result we are unable to take in any homeless cats or kittens. We receive emails daily requesting assistance and currently have to turn everyone away. Please consider opening your home to a kitty! We pay for all veterinary care and simply ask that you make a six-month or more commitment. Fostering literally saves a life. Learn More >> |

Sponsor Seven, our toughest foster kitty
A dedicated rescuer found this FIV+ tuxedo tomcat on Haverford Ave in northwest Philly. This sweet boy has certainly used up most of his nine lives. Due to some recent health problems, Seven will not be up for adoption and will be living out the rest of his life with us in kitty hospice care. Seven has a lot of people cheering him on--his foster mom, the whole City Kitties gang, the Cat Doctor staff, and assorted friends and fans. But we need donations to cover Seven's considerable vet bills. Please sponsor Seven and help us make the rest of his life happy and comfortable.
Sponsor the City Kitties Clinic Campaign
City Kitties launched our foster spay/neuter clinic this summer with the generosity of The Cat Doctor, Dr. Megan Andeer, and our donors. This initiative has already significantly reduced our veterinary costs so that we can reach more foster cats and kittens throughout the year. Help us by sponsoring the campaign! Read more >>
